The Lady Lakers (9-5) opened with a 23-25, 25-22, 15-8 loss to North Central. Shakamak then defeated the hosts 24-26, 25-23, 15-10. Bloomfield defeated the Lady Lakers for the second time this season, 25-22, 18-25, 15-11.
For the day, Riley Montgomery and Jazmine Martin each were 1 of 1 serving. Martin had 19 digs.
Amanda Gilbert was 28 of 29 serving with 10 points and one ace. Jess Gilbert connected on 30 of 33, leading to 19 points and four aces.
Marki Collins made 27 of 29 serves and collected 13 points and two aces. Stacey Durham had nine points on 18-for-19 serving.
Mikayla Crane was 32 of 35 on serve. The freshman finished with 19 points and three aces.
Holli Moore also had 19 points and one ace as she made 32 of 34 attempts from behind the service line.
