The tournament marked the return of Elyse Weddle, who had been out with a sprained ankle.
"I thought we played pretty good volleyball," said Bloomfield coach Jennifer Heaton. "It was good to work Elyse back into the line-up."
The victory over Shoals snapped a six-match losing streak.
The Lady Cardinals served at 92 percent clip. They were 45 of 52 against Shoals, 30-for-32 vs North Central and 56-for-58 against the Lady Lakers, for a total of 131 of 142 with 11 aces.
"We missed too many serves against Shoals, but were able to overcome it," said Heaton. "We did not have that many attempts against North Central because they were in control of that match."
Against Shoals, Ariel Fuller had four points and four digs. Kendra Spelts finished with 11 points, 16 assists, three kills and three digs.
Holly Zschiedrich finished with 10 points, two aces and two digs. Kaitilyn O'Neall had eight points, two kills and two digs.
Weddle had three kills and three blocks.
"We are trying to ease Elyse back into things," said Heaton.
Shelby Gott had 13 points, two aces and nine digs while Kelsie Spelts tallied four points and a pair of digs.
Leairra Thompson had nine kills and five blocks while Letitia Poe added three kills.
In the loss to North Central, Thompson collected eight kills, one assist, one block and one dig. Poe had three kills and two digs.
Kelsie Spelts had four points and Gott finished with 11 digs, eight points and one ace.
Sophomore Sarah Scott had one block and Weddle added three kill.
O'Neall collected three points and one dig while Katie Walker had one dig.
Zschiedrich finished with three points and four digs. Kendra Spelts had 10 points, 10 assists, four kills, three digs and a pair of aces. Fuller added three points and three digs.
Against conference foe Shakamak, Gott and Kelsie Spelts each had 10 digs, Kendra Spelts and Poe both credited with eight digs, Zschiedrich five, O'Neall and Weddle one each.
Fuller had 11 points and one ace. Kendra Spelts served 13 points, Zschiedrich seven points and one ace, O'Neall had nine points and two aces, Gott had eight points and one ace and Kelsie Spelts was perfect on serve, finishing with 10 points.
Thompson had a team-high 15 kills to go with one block. Scott finished with four kills, Poe three, Weddle had two kills and six blocks, O'Neall and Kendra Spelts also had a pair of kills and Fuller added four.
Kendra Spelts dished out 21 assists while Poe had two.
