Patricia L. May

Patricia L. May, 73, of Bloomington, formerly of Indianapolis, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 5, 2008, at her residence.

Born Sept. 27, 1934, in Bloomington, she was the daughter of Cretus and Tryfina Belle (Smith) Jones.

She was a homemaker. She was a member of the Sunnyside Baptist Church in Indianapolis where she was an active member in many groups.

She is survived by her children, Angela J. May of Indianapolis, Shawn E. L. May and Christina M. May, both of Bloomington; two sisters, Judy Rassi of Peru and Jean Fromholz of Indianapolis, two grandsons, Teven May of Indianapolis and Owen Stivers of Dugger; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 48 years, Chester E. May, on July 1, 2006; and her daughter, Julie D. Marshall, on Nov. 12, 2007.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Allen Funeral Home, 4155 S. Old State Road 37, Bloomington. Burial will follow at Walkers Chapel.

Visitation will be on Friday from 4-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
