This is one time Adam Noel of Worthington can be happy that he succumbed to peer pressure.
"My friend bought four [Hoosier Lottery Slots of Money Scratch-off] tickets and didn't win," said Noel. "He told me to buy the next one thinking I would win $50."
Noel scratched the Scratch-off ticket, finding that he had won $50,000 on the Hoosier Lottery Slots of Money Scratch-off ticket.
"He [his friend] was upset and left," said Noel.
Noel purchased his ticket from Vest Quick Mart at 820 S. Commercial in Worthington.
Noel's mother Kathy accompanied him to Hoosier Lottery Headquarters. He has not yet decided how to spend his winnings.

First he can give half of it to the government. Oh wait they will take that, he does not need to give it. :)
He should give some to the person who told him to buy the ticket. If it wasn't for his friend he wouldn't have won.
That is so cool, Adam!
from your long lost cousin

True dat! We don't need those schools!
Remember me, your long long lost uncle, oh I'm sure you remember me!
The friend who told him to buy the ticket ALSO gave him $2 to purchase the ticket because he only had $8. I think he owes his friend 20% of his winnings.
He doesn't owe that guy anything..... He should have bought the ticket himself if he thought it would be a winner...
Good for you Adam!!!!
