Orville Miller, 86, of Linton, passed away Wednesday, July 9, 2008 at his residence in Linton.

He was born on Jan. 29, 1922, the son of Pat & Margaret Miller.

He was a United States Navy veteran of World War II and was retired from government work in Detroit, Mich. He left Detroit, in 1985 and moved to Linton, IN. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and the Hi-Flyers Club, both of Linton.

He is survived by a daughter, Karen (John) Bland of Linton, a son, Randy Miller of Linton, a granddaughter, Molly Miller, of Linton, a brother, Karl (Jackie) Miller of Lehigh Acres, FL, and three grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Beth Miller.

Graveside service will be held at Fairview Cemetery at 1:00 P.M. Tuesday with Bishop Joe Wilson officiating.

There will be no visitation.
