Merril Don Chesterfield

Merril Don Chesterfield, 47, of Shelburn, passed away at 4:35 p.m. Friday July 4, 2008 at Terre Haute Regional Hospital.

He was born in Linton on Feb. 1, 1961 to Wayne Chesterfield and Ella House Chesterfield.

Merril was an Army National Guard veteran.

He was preceded in death by a son Jordan Chesterfield.

Survivors include: his parents Wayne and Ella Chesterfield of Coalmont; his wife, Laura Simpson Chesterfield of Shelburn; one son, Cameron Chesterfield of Shelburn; two daughters; Hailey Chesterfield and Nicole Chesterfield, both of Shelburn; one brother, Wayne Chesterfield Jr. of Lewis; one sister, Teressa Bickel of Lewis.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at NewkirkÂ's Funeral Home in Dugger with Pastor Jonathan Heard and Pastor Shawn Farris officiating. Burial in the K of P Cemetery in Hymera. Friends may call from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
