Sam O. Sherrill

Sam O. Sherrill, 70, of Linton, passed away at 12:50 a.m. Wednesday June 4, 2008 at Shakamak Good Samaritan Center in Jasonville.

He was born in Linton, July 25, 1937 to Sam and Madge Sherrill.

Survivors include: his companion of 17 years Linda Hancock; two sons; Ron Sherrill and wife Laura of Shelburn, Kevin Sherrill and wife Dawn of Dugger; a daughter; Jeanette Reed and husband Jon of Terre Haute; three brothers; Bill, and Bob Sherrill both of Florida, and Terry Sherrill of Linton; four grandchildren, Mickey Sherrill, Nicki Fuhrman, Chelsea Sherrill, and Bobby Thompson; and five great grandchildren.

There will be no visitation, cremation is scheduled.

Newkirk's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
