Maryann Martha Dillon

Maryann Martha Dillon, 73, of Odon, passed away at 6:45 a.m. Tuesday, June 3, 2008 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes.

Born Aug. 23, 1934 in Vincennes, she was the daughter of Claude Vernon and Leona Mae (Daffron) Johnson.

She was a homemaker and also worked at the Odon Senior Center. She was a member of the Otterbein United Methodist Church in Washington, and the American Legion and VFW auxiliaries.

Surviving relatives include: her children, Thomas E. Long of Elnora, Sue A. Freeman of Plainville, and Ralph E. Long of Washington; grandchildren, Sara Rink, Daniel Callahan, Rebecca Mischler, and Brittney Westfall; great, grandchildren, Ava Rink and Felisha Westfall.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Thomas Vernon "Tinker" Johnson.

Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Sunday at Jenkins & Sons Funeral Home in Bloomfield. Interment will be in Newberry Cemetery.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Saturday and one hour prior to services Sunday at the funeral home.
