Fire heavily damages kitchen in Linton home

By Chris Pruett Linton Fire Department responded to a residential fire at 4:45 p.m. Thursday at the corner of 6th Street and G-Street NW that was electrical in nature and originated in the kitchen area, according to Fire Chief Lonnie Eberhardt. Here, fireman Brad Sparks surveys damage on the roof. The home, owned by Donna May, had its kitchen gutted and smoke and water damage throughout. Fire crews were on the scene just over an hour. Nobody was home when the fire broke out. No injuries were reported.

my heart goes out to this family even though it might say the damage was mostly in the kitchen this family lost everything and need all the help they can get
