Mary Jane (Gardner) Bedwell

Mary Jane (Gardner) Bedwell, 87, of Jasonville, passed away at 11:02 p.m. Wednesday, May 14, 2008 at Good Samaritan Nursing Center in Jasonville.

Born July 20, 1920 in Greene County, she was the daughter of Gorda and Fern Manuel Hammersley

She was a member of Jasonville United Methodist Church and had worked for the Metropolitan School District of Shakamak in the cafateria.

Survivors include: daughter and son-in-law, Karen and Bill Gaskins of Terre Haute; sons and daughters-in-law,Larry and Susan Gardner of Terre Haute, Robert & Vicki Gardner of Jasonville; brother and sister in-law, Richard and Carolyn Hammersley of Jackson, MI; nine grandchildren; and 13 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Lewis Gardner; second husband, Robert D, Bedwell; a son, Charles Gardner; and a sister: Marjorie Keller

Visitation will be from 5 -- 8 p.m. Friday and after 9 a.m. Saturday at McClanahan-Lee Funeral Home in Jasonville.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home with Pastor Carl Leth officiating.

Burial will be at Lebanon Cemetery in Midland.
