Eastern Greene Board approves personnel changes

At the first regular monthly meeting of the Eastern Greene Board of School Trustees in the library of the new high school building on Monday night, members approved a few personnel changes.

The board accepted the resignation of Barbara Milhoan as Girl's Middle School Cross Country Coach.

Valerie Ault was appointed to serve as the Junior High Girls Cross Country Coach for the 2008-09 school year and Adam Nonte was appointed to be the Junior High Boys Cross Country Coach for the 2008-09 school year.

Kalli Burgess was approved to serve as the Color Guard Instructor for the Marching Band Program.

In other matters, the board approved high school and middle school handbooks for the next school year.

The board adopted textbooks for the middle school and approved a schedule of middle school textbook rental fees.

To cover a shortfall in their Bus Replacement Fund, the board passed a resolution to shift a portion out of the Contracted Bus Service Fund.

They approved an additional appropriations hearing scheduled for June 9 and discussed an upcoming school budgeting and finance seminar in June.

The board approved a recommendation for Great American Plan Administrators to administer the school's 403b Plan, subject to an acceptable contract.
