The runs came after the Lions jumped out to a 2-0 lead.
"We came out cold in the first inning," said Linton-Stockton coach Tim Leffler. "But our bats came alive in the second inning.
"There was a lot of good base running by the kids. We had some pretty good plate appearances and the kids were disciplined at the plate. We were able to hold them off."
Tate Graves was the winning pitcher for the Miners. It was his second win in as many decisions as Linton-Stockton improved to 3-1.
Dylan Hazlewood paced the offense as he went 3-for-3 with two doubles and three RBIs.
Tyler Pigg was 1-for 3 with a double, one run, and one RBI.
Tyler Trent contributed one hit and one RBI.
Jared Enochs and Abram Beck each added one hit.
The Miner JV will play at home Monday against Edgewood.
