* May 7 -- Police are investigating a complaint by a man who co-signed in 2002 for a Linton resident to get a cell phone. They thought the two-year contract should have expired, but now they're getting calls from a collection agency for a debt of $776.
LPD Det. Sgt. Keith McDonald is the investigating officer.
* May 7 -- A resident reported an auto theft after they woke up to find their teal 1995 Dodge Neon gone. LPD Patrolman Karl Jacobshagen is the investigating officer.
* May 7 -- Police are investigating incidents of criminal mischief at the State Farm Insurance Agency on A St. N.E. The property has been "egged," has had vehicle tracks through the yard and sustained damage to a business sign.

* May 7 -- No injuries were reported after an accident involving two vehicles at approximately 1:28 p.m. at the intersection of A St. N.E. and 5th St. N.E. LPD Patrolman Karl Jacobshagen was the investigating officer.
