"I can't say enough about Chase tonight," said Linton-Stockton coach Bart Beard, whose Miners are now 13-2. "We have been wanting our fourth and fifth guys to step up and he did."
Also for the Miners, George Fritch shot 39, Jordan Bradbury and Kent George each carded 41s, Brady Stefancik 44 and Seth Herndon finished with a nine-hole total of 46.
"George played well as well as did Kent and Jordan," said Beard. "Chase was really ecstatic about what he shot tonight.
"His scores show how much he is improving. This gives us a little more depth. I am really proud of these guys. Any time you can go on the road and shoot less than 160, you are doing pretty well. I am happy about the way we have been playing and we headed in the right direction."
Chris Graham paced Eastern Greene with a 45. David McNeal shot 50, Sam Jacob and Kendall Byers 52 and Ricky Rollins 54.
Linton-Stockton will face North Central and Clay City at the Sullivan Elks today. Eastern Greene will be idle until Saturday when they compete at the Southwestern Indiana Athletic Conference match at Phil Harris in Linton.
