You're right. School Board elections are more important than a functioning Courthouse Clock. Besides, the people in the Courthouse Smoke Shack can't see the clock anyway.

Just for the record, time stopped at 12:04, not 10:04. Well, maybe not. We weren't on Eastern Daylight Savings Time back then.

I would rather have new school board members in and thinking more of my children than have a clock fixed. My children are the future and I own a watch. If my children don't succeed at Shakamak then they won't be able to tell time anyway. It is a shame. I was hoping we could get some new blood in there.

Shakamak failed to vote new school board members in which means no new ideas or help with kids that need it. A big time shame.......the community needs to wake up! it's not about the last name; it's about getting things done for the best interest of every child.

The only reason it doesn't work is because it was struck by lightning at 10:04pm the night of the "Enchantment Under the Sea" dance.

The Courthouse Clock should be an issue for any candidate in this county. $16 M Courthouse renovation and the Clock is only correct twice a day. Disappointing.

Apparently it is not very important. I never really hear anyone mention much about it. Maybe the November election could change that?

I agree. Someone should really do something about getting the courthouse clock fixed. GC Daily should pole some of the candidates to find out how important this issue is to them.

It is very hard to remove a long term school board member when you have so many running for the position.

Better Luck next time Shakamak District 1.

One of the hot button issues leading up to November for Greene County should getting the Courthouse clock up and operational again.
