8:26 a.m. Wednesday, April 23, 2008 at Greene County General Hospital in Linton. Born June 24, 1958 in Morgan County, he was the son of David L. and Betty J. Fleener Asher

He was a member of Lebanon Baptist Church in Midland, Jasonville Masonic Lodge No. 530 F&AM, Terre Haute Horseshoe Club and was a volunteer with the Horseshoe Club Special Olympics.

Survivors include: his wife of 31 years, Robin L. (Durham) Asher, whom he married November 27, 1977; sons, David & Keri Asher of Libertyville and Cory Asher of Midland; sisters, Debbie Asher and Sandy and Ed (Asher) Camden, both of Indianapolis; a brother, Stan Asher of Kentucky; a granddaughter, Alizah Ann Asher; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Friday and after 9 a.m. Saturday at McClanahan-Lee Funeral Home in Jasonville. A Masonic memorial service will be at 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home with Pastor Mark Messmer officiating.
