She was born in Dugger on Feb. 24, 1924, the daughter of Bonnie Louis Hickman and Ethel Lorenda Seals Hickman.
She was a member of the Mt. Calvary United Methodist Church in Sullivan, graduated from Union-Dugger High School in 1941. Annabelle married Cecil "Blackie" Fifer on May 30, 1941. She was a retired nurses aide for 16 1⁄2 years at the former Mary Sherman Hospital in Sullivan.
Survived include: one son, Wayne E. Fifer and wife Sandy of Sullivan; three daughters, Judy Jerrell and husband Ronnie of Linton, Kathy Cox and husband Rusty of Dugger, and Mandy Jewell and husband Dennis of Dugger; eight grandchildren, Robbie Jerrell, Sherrie Todd, Eddie Fifer, Darrin Fifer, Susan Stuckwisch, Dustin Cox, Kallie Cox and Cara Arthur; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Newkirk's Funeral Home in Dugger with Rev. Paul Forney and Rev. Doug Tuttle officiating.
Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. Saturday and after 9 a.m. Sunday. Interment in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Mt. Calvary Cemetery Fund.
