Thomas Wayne Walton, 74, of Indianapolis, passed away Tuesday, April 22, 2008.

Born Aug. 1, 1933 to Carl Wesley and Mildred Irene Risher Walton, of Linton.

He graduated from Linton-Stockton High School in 1951. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, and married Mae Ellen Davis, who preceded him in death. Thomas was employed as a driver for more than 25 years with Pepsi Food Service Company. He was a member of the Order of Eastern Star, and the Masonic Lodge No.669.

Survivors include: daughters, Sandra L. Schiller (Delbert), Sherry Jo Browning (Gary), Vicki L. Stewart (Dennis), Robin R. Cocherell (Mike); brother, Steve Walton (Marcia) of Linton; brother-in-law, Ralph Kirk; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Preceding him in death was his son, Edward D. Green and sister, Linda Kirk.

Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Thursday at the Shirley Brothers Thompson Road Chapel, 3333 E. Thompson Rd., Indianapolis.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
