The children and grandchildren of Arkie and Earlene Vandeventer will host an open house May 4 at the Worthington Community Building from 1-4 p.m. celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary.

Lunch will be served.

The couple was married on March 15, 1958 at the Folsom United Methodist Church in Worthington. Mr. and Mrs. Vandeventer are the parents of two children, Todd (Sherry) Vandeventer of Jasonville and Mindy (Danny) Lent of Worthington.

They are the proud grandparents of five grandsons: Thad, Garrett, Brenden, Ian and Tucker and one granddaughter, Mackenna.
