Ivy Juanita Lifford

Ivy Juanita Lifford, 95, of Jasonville passed away at 10:55 a.m. Tuesday at Greene County General Hospital in Linton.

Born Jan. 18, 1913 in Sullivan County, she was the daughter of James and Mary Ellen (Blevins) Mattox.

She was a homemaker and a member of the Jasonville Church of God as well as active at the Senior Citizens Center in Jasonville.

Survivors include: son and daughter-in-law, Donald W. and Maxine Lifford of Jasonville; sisters, Elsie Dean of Sullivan and Nina Branham of Trafalgar.

She was preceded in death by her parents; infant son, Ralph Lee Lifford; four brothers, Wayne, Ed, Clarence and Oral Mattox; and one sister, Edna Beadle.

Visitation will be from noon until service time on Friday at McClanahan-Lee Funeral Home in Jasonville. funeral home.

Graveside services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday at Peavey Cemetery in Howesville with Pastor Jonathan Heard officiating.
