Peggy Ann (Hubbard) Mattix, 63, of Bedford, passed way at 4:40 p.m. Saturday, April 12 at her residence.

She was born Nov. 27, 1944 in Lawrence County to Elbert and Roberta (Hawk) Hubbard. She was raised by Francis and Violet Weir

She worked at Walgreens in Bedford

Survivors include: her husband, James Mattix of Bedford; one son, Jeff Mattix and wife Sherry of Bloomfield; two daughters, Lori Davis of Mitchell, and Alysha Mattix of Bedford; four grandchildren, Chastity and Kendall Davis of Mitchell, Sarah and Samantha Mattix of Bloomfield; two great grandchildren, Luke and Hailey Terrell of Mitchell; one brother, David Hubbard and wife,Sondra of Bedford.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and Francis & Violet Weir, who raised her. She was a member of the Central Church of Christ, Bedford

Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Cresthaven Funeral Home in Bedford with Rev. Steve Goens officiating. Burial will be in Cresthaven Memory Gardens, Bedford

Visitation will be from 3-8 p.m. Tuesday Cresthaven Funeral Home.
