Joshua A. Zills, 23, Vincennes, was arrested without incident and transported to the Sullivan County Sheriff's Department where he was being held on $5,000 bond.
The Linton Police Department received a call around 9:49 p.m. from a resident who said Zills was causing a disturbance at their home located on David Ave. and 11th St. N.W.
According to the police report, the reporting party said Zills had told the residents that over the course of three days, he had taken 65 pills of Ritalin belonging to their child. Upon checking and finding only three pills left in the prescription bottle, the residents called police.
When officers identified Zills on the scene, they found he was wanted in Sullivan County on a warrant for a petition to revoke his probation in connection with a case involving operating a vehicle while intoxicated with a B.A.C. of .15 or more and possession of marijuana.
LPD Cpl. Chad Crynes was the investigating officer. Others assisting on the scene included LPD Patrolmen Jayson Smith and Keith McDonald.
