Lillian Arah Jones Swango, 96, of Bloomington passed away Monday, March 17, 2008.

Born Feb. 13, 1912 in Bloomington, she was the daughter of Russell and Wynona Weimer Jones.

She is a member of The Southside Christian Church and had retired from the Student Housing Division at Indiana University.

Survivors include: sons, Lloyd L. Swango of Bloomington, Warren E. Swango of Springville and Don Swango of Bloomfield; daughters Wanda Daniels of Stanford and Linda W. Summitt of Bloomington;15 grandchildren; and numerous great and great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a son James and her twin sister, Bernice.

Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Friday and after 10 a.m. Saturday at the Allen Funeral Home in Bloomington.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will follow in the Clover Hill Cemetery.
