Amos and Barbara Bowersock celebrated 60 years of marriage Feb. 21.

They were married Feb. 21, 1948 by the Rev. Kenneth Neuenschwander of Bloomfield.

Amos retired from General Motors in Bedford in 1986.

Amos is the son of the late George and Mary Bowersock of Worthington.

Barbara is the daughter of the late Thomas and Hazel Yates of Linton.

They are the parents of four children. -- Richard and Debbie Bowersock of Worthington, Brenda and Bill Rennels of Clinton, Chris and George Rollins of Newberry, and the late Glenn T. Bowersock.

They have been blessed with eight grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

They celebrated quietly with family.
