Frederick Ray DeGott, 74, of Jeffersonville, passed away Friday, Feb. 22, 2008 in Jeffersonville.

He was born in Louisville, KY, and a U.S. Navy veteran of the Korean War.

A retired printer for Queens Group Printing, he was a member of the American Legion Post No. 35, the Masonic Lodge, the Pathogoris Lodge, VFW Post No. 1832, and the Shrine Club in Clarksville.

He is survived by his son, Albert DeGott and his wife, Donna, of Bloomfield; a daughter, Mary Lee McKinzie of New Albany; two sisters, Ruth Harlson of Kathleen, GA, and Mary Louise Morse of Peru, NY; and four grandchildren, Samantha DeGott, Nancy DeGott, Savannah McKinizie and Casey McKinizie.

Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at Scott's Funeral Home, North Chapel in Jeffersonville. Burial was in Walnut Ridge Cemetery.
