Martha Marie Robison, 76, of Linton, passed away at 9:11 p.m. Monday, Feb. 18, 2008, at Glenburn Home in Linton.

She was born Oct. 28, 1931 in Linton, the daughter of Charles and Amy (Babbitt) Curtis.

She was a 1950 graduate of Linton-Stockton High School and worked at General Electric, Keller Aluminum and Sunbeam, all in Linton. She was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church and St. Anne's Altar Society.

Survivors include her husband, Bobby C. Robison, to whom she was married Jan. 14, 1951; two daughters, Marcia Britton and her husband, Herb, of Petersburg, Monica Russell and her husband, Shawn, of Linton; two sons, Rob Robison and his wife, Vicky, of Linton and Criss Robison and his wife, Pat, of Linton; nine grandchildren, Corey, Chuck, Cassey, Zach, Jenny, Matthew, Alyssa, A. J., and Kyle, 13 great-grandchildren, four step-great-grandchildren, two step-great-great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews; a sister-in-law, Marilyn (Robison) Richards-Racop of Vincennes; and a long-time friend, Wilhelmina Lehman of Linton.

She was preceded by her parents; Lola Bennett, by whom she was reared; four brothers, Dale, John, Joe and Billy Curtis; and a sister, Doris (Bennett) Hubbell-Crabtree.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 23, at St. Peter Catholic Church with Father Hilary Vieck officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Linton.

Friends may call from 5-9 p.m. Friday at Welch & Cornett Funeral Home Linton Chapel. The rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Friday.

The family has suggested that memorial donations be made to the American Cancer Society through the funeral home.
