Billy Gene Hill, 72, of Worthington, passed away at 11:15 a.m. Monday, Feb. 18, 2008, at his residence.

He was born Feb. 1, 1936, in Texas, to Starley and Mamie Mildred (McMahan) Hill.

He was an oilfield worker in several states. He was a U. S. Army veteran and a member of the Worthington Apostolic Church.

He is survived by companion, Emma Tourangeau, Worthington; daughter, Shelba Fullen, Beaumont, TX; son, Marcus Hill, Houston, TX; two brothers, James Hill, Greensburg, KY; Starley Hill, Jr., New Mexico; two grandchildren and three great- grandchildren; step-children, Darren Tourangeau, Bloomington and Shannon Suarez, Riviera, TX; four step-grandchildren; and four step-great granddaughters.

Funeral service at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Welch & Cornett Funeral Home in Worthington with Bro. Tommy Shields officiating. Burial will be in Worthington Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 11 a.m. until the time of service on Wednesday, until time of service.
