Jerry Scott, 71, of Linton, passed away at 3 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 19, 2008 at his residence.

Born Sept. 19, 1936 in Dugger, he is the son of Cecil and Esther Dix Scott.

He was retired from Allomatic in Sullivan.

Survivors include: one brother, James L. Scott of Malberry, FL; a sister, Agnes Goodman, of Dugger; and nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Fairview Cemetery in Linton with Pastor Dan Kemp officiating.

There will be no visitation.

Newkirk's Funeral Home in Dugger is charge of arrangements.
