Virginia R. Krost, 83, of Indianapolis, passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2008.

Born May 12, 1924 in Newberry, she was the daughter of Norvel and Nora J. Malone.

She is survived by her children, Cecelia Krost and Michael (Roberta) Krost; two grandchildren; one great-grandchild; sisters, Marjorie Brookshire and Ethel Cox; brothers, Lee and Ralph Malone; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Oscar Warren Krost; a sister, Bonnie Sullivan; and brothers Richard and John Malone.

Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Thursday at Flanner and Buchanan Funeral Center - Washington Park East.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
