Born Oct. 20, 1914 in Newark, she was the daughter of Willmot & Urah (Hoke) Resler.
She formerly owned and operated the Bloomfield Dry Goods Store. She was a member of the Better Business Association, BPW (Bloomfield Professional Women), DAV Auxiliary, all of Bloomfield. She was of the Baptist faith.
Surviving relatives include: three brothers: Lowell Resler of Bloomfield, Merl Resler of California and Dale Resler of New Albany; special friend, Laurel Helms of Bloomfield; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Raymond Ellett; second husnand, Truman William "Bill" Crody; one brother Harold Resler; one sister, Barbara Resler; and her parents.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 pm. on Friday and after 1 p.m. Saturday at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield.
Services will be at 2 p.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Arlen Pope officiating. Burial will follow at Prairie Chapel Cemetery near Lyons.
