Glenna C. Brewer, 84, of Bloomfield, passed away at 5 p.m. Friday, Dec. 14, 2007 at her residence.

Born Jan. 14, 1923 in Wilmington. VT, she was the daughter of Irene Farmer Colby.

She was an U.S. Army veteran of World War II.

Survivors include: two sons, John S. Brewer of Bloomfield and James A. Brewer of Bloomington; a daughter, Lisa Russell of Bloomington; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Her husband, Ivan Earl Brewer, preceded her in death in 1998.

Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Center Ridge Cemetery in Sullivan.

Friends may call at Newkirk's Funeral Home in Dugger from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Wednesday.
