She was born in Maryland on Sept. 21, 1941, the daughter of Hugh and Virginia Elsie (King) McNally.
She was a retired insurance agent for Western-Southern Life Insurance Company in Bloomington. She was a LUTCF graduate for life insurance education. A member of the NALU (National Association of Life Underwriters), and also a member of the Sweet Adeline National Barbershop Organization, and the USEF (US Equestrian Federation).
She is survived by her husband, Charles B. Montgomery of Linton; three daughters, Joy Lane Owen of Cloverdale, Kathleen Kay Brown, and husband, Joe, of Clarks Hill, Leah Renee Copas, and husband, Gregory, of Indianapolis; one son, Matthew Brook Montgomery, and wife, Catrina, one step-son, Chad Mitchell Montgomery, of Indianapolis, and one step-daughter, Erin Elizabeth Owen, of Dayton, seven grandchildren, Tiffany, Leah Jo, Tyler, Dylan, Jacob, Corey, and July.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Hugh McNally and Virginia Elsie Weddle, and one grandson, Joshua Eugene Brown.
Funeral services will be held at the Welch and Cornett Funeral Home in Linton at 8 p.m. Wednesday with Pastor Don Evans officiating. Committal service will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday at Linden Cemetery in Linden.
