Catherine C. Shilkett, 82, formerly of Switz City, passed away at 2:15 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 22, 2007, at the Glenburn Home in Linton.

She was born in Switz City on Dec. 28, 1924, the daughter of Barney and Nellie (Snyder) Lundy.

She worked for 21 years at the REMC of Bloomfield and was a member of the Switz City Christian Church.

She is survived by her nieces, Rhoda Gibson of Jasonville and Willa Dean Myngheer of Evansville; and a nephew, David Lundy of Texas.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Doyle Shilkett; a brother, Orval Lundy; two half-brothers, Willard and Weeden Lundy; and two half-sisters, Mary Workman & Agnes Gibson.

Graveside Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Switz City Cemetery.

There will be no public visitation.
