He was born in Greencastle,, to Billy and Dorothy Thomas Fiscus and grew up near Gosport.
He worked as a newspaper carrier for The Herald-Times in Bloomington for some time and for his father, Billy, as a stone and brick mason.
Survivors include his mother, Dorothy; sisters, Sandy Sips and husband, Gerry, Karen Honeycutt and husband, Bob, Debra Dean and husband, Steve; former wife and friend, Penny Banks; several nieces and nephews, as well as a large extended family.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Services were held Tuesday Schoppenhorst Funeral Home. Burial followed at Beech Cemetery.
