Leon and Carolyn Freeman of Solsberry will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary Thursday. They were married at the home of the bride’s parents, David and Marian Abram in 1957, by the groom’s brother Samuel Freeman. A celebration will be hosted by the couple’s family Saturday at 6 p.m. at the Hendricksville Community Building on Highway 43. The Freemans have four children Jerry Freeman, Phyllis Everett, Becky Bowlen, and Angie Criger, all of Solsberry. They have seven grandchildren.
