Ruby A. Walker

Ruby A. Walker, 81, of Freelandville and formerly of Sullivan County, passed away ata 7:45 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 16, 2007 at Willow Manor Nursing Home in Vincennes.

Born Dec. 20, 1925 in Vincennes, she was the daughter of Chloa Hobbs Walker.

Survivors include: one son, Doug Walker, of Linton; a sister, Hazel Carruth of California; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by her husband, Hinkle Walker; and four sisters, Dorothy Hartburg, Wreatha Steprow, Victoria Dildine and Emma Rose Walker.

There will be no visitation. Cremation is scheduled.

Newkirk's Funeral Home in Dugger is in charge of arrangements.
