JASONVILLE -- Leslie Dale "Peach" Goodman, 52, of Jasonville, passed away on Thursday, Oct. 11, 2007 at Regional Hospital in Terre Haute at 8:50 a.m.

He was born June 13, 1955 in Greene County to Leslie H. and Viola May Kimberling Goodman.

He had worked for the Clay City Water Department.

He is survived by his companion, Carole F. Johnson of Jasonville; daughters, Michell Martin of Evansville, Amanda Spicer of Terre Haute, and Chelsea Hurtaus of Tucson, Ariz.; stepchildren, Daniel and Betty Johnson of Terre Haute, Jeff Johnson of Jasonville, and Robert Johnson of Hymera; sister, Nancy Black of Brazil; brother, John Padgett of Jasonville; nine grandchildren, Brady Miller, Preston Spicer, Shushauna Fisher, Kenny Martin, Daniel Johnson II, Andrew Johnson, Christopher Johnson, Sarah Marie Austin, and Keannah Brewer.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Doris Fields, Betty Schofield, and Edith Padgett; brothers, James Goodman, Robert Goodman, Donald Padgett, Charles "Butch" Padgett, and Russell "Rusty" Cooprider.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. on Monday at McClanahan-Lee Funeral Home in Jasonville with the Pastor Sam Bush officiating.

Visitation will be from noon until the time of service Monday.
