Zebedee Rush, 88, of Springville, passed away 2:05 p.m. Thursday, October 4, 2007 at his residence.

Born December 5, 1918 in Koleen, he was the son of Everett and Carey (Emery) Rush.

He was a farmer, and also worked at Bedford Limestone, and NSWC Crane.

Surviving relatives include: his wife Lillian (Bough) Rush whom he married April 15, 1939; three daughters, Carol Russell and her husband David of Springville, Mary Fields and her husband Jim of Bloomfield, and Sherry Anno of Fishers; three sons, Douglas Rush and his wife Rhonda of Bedford, Zebedee L. (Shorty) Rush and his wife Donna of Huron, and Michael Rush and his wife Betty of Bloomfield; 16 grandchildren and 17 great, grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, John, Carl, and Buddy Rush.

Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Sunday at Jenkins & Sons Funeral Home in Bloomfield, with Rev. Glen Stidd officiating. Interment will be in Owensburg Cemetery.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. on Saturday and 1 hour prior to services Sunday at the funeral home.

The family asks that all memorial contributions be made to Hospice of Greene County in care of the funeral home.
