He retired in 1978 from Catterson Buick as a service manager after 32 years with area Buick dealerships. He was a veteran of the Army Air Force during World War II. He was a member of Keystone Lodge 251 F&AM for 50 years; American Legion Post 276 for 39 years; and Fraternal Order of the Eagles of Beech Grove.
Survivors include, his wife, Elizabeth "Bette" Keske Johnson; one son, Larry Johnson; one sister, Maxine Graves; and three grandchildren.
Funeral service was at Little and Sons Beech Grove Chapel at 11 a.m. today. Burial followed at Washington Park East.
Friends called at the funeral home from 3-7 p.m. on Tuesday.
