Born Oct. 29, 1912 in Bloomfield, he was the son of Tom and Stella (Pearson) Ferguson.
He was a self-employed carpenter, retired. He was a member of Carpenters Union Local 1664, and attended the Walnut Grove Church.
Survivors include his wife, Leona May "Dot" Ferguson of Ellettsville; two sons, Tracy Ferguson of Switz City and Sam Ferguson of Bloomington; one daughter, Stella Moody of Terre Haute; four grandchildren, Amanda Ferguson, Jason Ferguson, Mathew Ferguson, and Molly Ring; two step grandchildren, Lisa Ashcraft and Roger Arthur; six great grandchildren; eight step great grandchildren; five step great great grandchildren; and one nephew.
He was preceded in death by four brothers, Wilber, Wendell, Robert, and an infant brother; daughter, Sally Ann Ferguson; and his parents.
Funeral service will be at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield at 1 p.m. on Wednesday with the Rev. Billy Ed Hostettler officiating. Burial will follow at Grandview Cemetery in Bloomfield.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 4-8 p.m. on Tuesday, and 11 a.m. until the hour of service.
