SWITZ CITY ---- Elizabeth E. Herold, 86, of Switz City, passed away at 10:15 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 4, 2003 at Greene County General Hospital in Linton.

Born Oct. 3, 1917 in Greene County, she was the daughter of Joseph and Hazel (Scott) Haskett.

She was a homemaker and of the Methodist faith.

Survivors include, her husband, Ovid V. Herold of Switz City; son and daughter-in-law, Stanley and Betty Herold of Bloomfield; daughter and son-in-law, Hazel and Joe Beatty of Linton; brother, Harley Haskett of Switz City; four grandchildren, Debra Stahl, Lisa Krueger, and Rod Beatty all of Worthington; Rene Welch of Jasonville; and four great grandchildren.

She was preceded by a brother, Herbert Haskett, sister, Geneva Newsom, and her parents.

Funeral service will be at Welch & Cornett Linton Chapel at 11 a.m. on Friday with the Pastor Sam Hill officiating. Burial will follow at Switz City Cemetery.

Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. today, and after 9 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
