Born Jan. 15, 1936 in Greene County, she was the daughter of Louis and Pearl (Franklin) Souders.
She retired in 1989 from Keller Aluminum in Linton. She was a member of the Linton American Legion Auxiliary and Linton Ladies of the Moose Lodge.
Survivors include, two sons, Richard Terhune of Linton and Brian French of Worthington; one daughter and son-in-law, Terry and Max Burch of Bloomington; two sisters, Brenda Scott of Linton and Rosemary Fordyce of Linton; one brother, Kenny Souders of Calif.; three grandchildren, Ann Etta Goble of Jasonville, John Jay Burch of Bloomington, and Daniel French of Worthington; two great granddaughters; and companion, Bill Watson of Linton.
She was preceded in death by a son, Jerry Dean Hotz; twin sister, Jo Etta Turpin; two sisters, Barbara Targett and Sara Souders; five brothers, Alfred, Everett, Lynzie, Henry and Joseph Souders; and her parents.
Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. on Friday at Welch & Cornett Linton Chapel.
There will be no funeral service.
Burial will be at a later date at Fairview Cemetery.
