Mary Perkins, 74, of Linton, passed away Monday morning, Nov. 3, 2003 at Glenburn Home in Linton.

Born Sept. 16, 1929 in Louisville, Ky., she was the daughter of Roy and Ella (Roberts) Stivers.

She was a homemaker.

Survivors include, one son, John W. Perkins, Jr. of Indianapolis; one sister; four grandchildren, Cher Rosner of Indianapolis, Jill Elder of Indianapolis, John Victor Perkins of Indianapolis, and Cari Perkins of Indianapolis; and three great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John W. Perkins, Sr. on Nov. 13, 2001; three sisters; and her parents.

Graveside service will be conducted at 1 p.m. ib Thursday at Sassafras Cemetery in Linton with Father Hilary Vieck officiating.

Friends may call at Welch & Cornett Linton Chapel from 11 a.m. until 12:45 p.m. on Thursday.
