Lillian Shepherd, 98, of Daytona Beach, Fla., died Wednesday, Dec. 24.

Born Oct. 19, 1905, in Linton, she was the daughter of Charles and Elsie (Moss) Taylor.

In August 1924, she married Lee Shepherd and they later lived in Grosse Pointe Park, Mich., before retiring in 1970 to Daytona Beach.

Survivors include a son, Richard, and his wife Mary Shepherd, and a daughter, Joyce Shepherd, all of Daytona Beach; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and a niece by marriage, Luanne Bellamy of Linton.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and two sisters, Irene Branstetter and Lois Bunch.

Service will be Jan. 2, 2004 in Daytona Beach. The Daytona Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
