DUGGER ---- LaDonna Sevier, 80, of Merom, passed away at 4:45 a.m. today, Monday, Dec. 29, at Sullivan County Community Hosptial.

Born in Sullivan County Aug. 29, 1923, the was the daughter of Marshall Smith and Mamie Huff Smith. She was a retired LPN from Mary Sherman Hospital in Sullivan

Survivors include two sons, Tony Sevier of Vasser, Mich., and Terry Sevier of Sullivan; a daughter, Theena Krause of Sullivan; one brother, Vernon Dale Smith of Brazil; six grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Wendell "Duck" Sevier, in 1980, a brother, Malcolm Smith, and a sister, Bertha Jo Kendall.

Services will be Wednesday, Dec. 31, at 1 p.m. at Newkirk's Funeral Home in Dugger with Rev. John Sullivan officiating. Burial will be in Long's Chapel Cemetery in rural Sullivan.

Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Tuesday and before the services on Wednesday.
