Frank R. Hawkins

Frank R. Hawkins, 83, of Elizabethtown, Ky., died Sunday, Dec. 28, at Elizabethtown Nursing and Rehab Center.

He was a native of Jasonville and formerly worked as an engineer for the Crane Naval Surface Warfare Center.

Survivors include a daughter, Cindy Russell of Elizabethtown, Ky.; one sister, Anna Marie Gainey of Bloomfield; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary A. Archer Hawkins, in 1990.

A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date.

The Brown Funeral Home of Elizabethtown is in charge of the arrangements.
