Gerald R. Arnett, 61 of Sullivan, passed away at 8 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 16, 2003 in his residence.

He was born in Sullivan on Feb. 22, 1942 to Oval and Opal Marie Mason Arnett.

He was a truck driver and a member of Southside Gospel Church.

He is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Jeff and Diane Arnett and Terry and Sandy Arnett all of Sullivan; a brother, Larry Arnett of Pineville, La.; sisters Jean Hoesman of Oklawaha, Fla. and Sue French of Terre Haute; and grandchildren, Dustin, Kyle, Kenneth, Kevin and Kristin Arnett.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and two brothers.

Graveside service will be at 3 p.m. on Friday at Webb Cemetery in Sullivan County with the Rev. Gary Shelton officiating.

Casket escorts will be Jeff, Terry, Dustin, Kyle, Kenneth, Kevin and Mike Arnett.

Alexander-Kean Funeral Home is in charge of local services.
