Betty J. Bays, 74, of Jasonville, died at 2:02 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 14, 2004, at Terre Haute Regional Hospital.

Born May 26, 1929, in Royalton, Ky., she was the daughter of Harrison and Mary Jane Kilburn Osborne.

She was a homemaker.

Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Paul D. and Jeane Pruett Jr. of Wheaton, Ill.; grandchildren, Dawn Pruett and fianc/ Shawn Shedd, Cheryl A. Pruett and Steve Sullivan; a niece, Ruth Ann Quinlan of Jasonville and a nephew, Ronald Joseph of Chelsea, Mich.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Memorial services will be 2 p.m. on Saturday at the Friendly Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. Harold Thomas officiating. Burial will follow in the Friendly Grove Cemetery in Lewis.

The McClanahan-Lee Funeral Home in Jasonville was in charge of the arrangements.
