Dora Dean Richardson, 84, of Rural Route 2, Bloomfield, died Sunday, Jan. 18 at Ketcham Memorial Center in Odon.

Born July 13, 1919 in Greene County, she was the daughter of Dewey Hayes and Ruth (Hudson) Hays.

She was a homemaker and a member of the Antioch Christian Church and the Antioch Ladies Aid.

Survivors include her husband, Donald W. Richardson; and one daughter, Brenda S. Ockerman, of Marshall, Ill.; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Tommy Joe Richardson; one brother, Lee Hays; and aunt and uncle, Lawrence and Edith Gibson, who raised her.

Service will be at 2 p.m. on Tuesday at Jenkins & Sons Funeral Home in Bloomfield with the Rev. Arlen Pope officiating. Burial will be in Scotland Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home 4-8 p.m. today, and one hour prior to service Tuesday.
