Thelma L. Gardner

JASONVILLE ---- Thelma L. Gardner, 86, of Jasonville, died at 12:05 a.m. today, Jan. 6, 2004 at the Shakamak Good Samaritan Nursing Home in Jasonville.

She was born May 9, 1917 in Worthington to Golda and Bessie Kendall Barton.

She was a homemaker. She was a member to the Shakamak Community Church.

She is survived by her daughter, Shirley Bradley of Jasonville; her son Jerry Gardner of Safety Harbor, Fla.; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband John E. Gardner on Jan. 15, 1998; her parents; four sisters, Verna Wilkie, Hazel Malone, Beulah Smith and Bonnie Dyer.

Funeral services will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at the McClanahan-Lee Funeral Home in Jasonville with Pastor Chris McKinney officiating. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. on Wednesday and from 9 a.m. until hour of services on Thursday.

She will be buried at Lebanon Cemetery in Midland.
